Ram, Olson, Cereghino & Kopczynski LLP, along with Terrell Marshall & Daudt, has filed a class action against Olympus Imaging America, Inc. in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of California.

The Olympus class action, brought on behalf of California resident Stefanie Mlejnecky and all others similarly situated, alleges violations of California's consumer laws in the sale and advertising of the Olympus Stylus 1030 SW and 850 SW cameras. The Olympus class action alleges that the Stylus SW cameras contain defects that cause the cameras to fail or malfunction when underwater or when dropped, despite Olympus's representations that the cameras are waterproof and shockproof.
