Matt J. Malone offers appellate advocacy services in a broad range of civil litigation areas, including property disputes, municipal utility charges, coverage litigation against insurance carriers, and the Davis-Stirling Act concerning homeowners associations. He has represented the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Educational Community for Homeowners before the California Supreme Court as amici curiae on multiple occasions, most recently in Beacon Residential Community Association v. Skidmore Owings & Merrill, LLP, et al., (2014) 59 Cal.4th 568, which established an architect’s duty of care to residential purchasers and their homeowners associations. His appellate practice also draws upon his experience as a legal research attorney for the fast track and complex civil law and motion departments of the Superior Court of California
